I live in a small town in Japan. Our town has a long history, but its population has been decreasing for many years. In our integrated studies class, we started a project to research our town. At first, I thought my town was boring because there were no large shopping malls or amusement parks.
However, through the project, we found many attractive things which we didn't know well. For example, our town has a traditional summer festival. It is the most exciting event in our area. Also, we talked to farmers who make local green tea. They told us how to grow the best tea leaves. We thought about what to do to help them, because the farmers and festival members were getting older.
My group decided to make English pamphlets and a website. We want to show people around the world how wonderful our town is. Making the website was not easy, but we worked hard.
Now, we are receiving some messages from foreign countries. I am very glad to see them. I realized that our local culture is more precious than I thought. We ( continue / the / of / town / charms / to / will / share / the ) with the world.
